Bridge mode with different ssid

I use a RAP5WN at home and I configured different SSID’s on the RAP. The SSID’s are in tunnel mode, split-tunnel mode or bridge mode. The bridge mode connections are for my home devices, like my girls iPad and iPhone. The RAP5WN has four 10/100 FastEthernet ports. An administrator cannot enable adult content filtering on the SSID. Because the adult content filtering feature is DNS-based, bridge mode disables adult content filtering by using the DNS server(s) advertised by the network’s DHCP server. Multiple DHCP servers are allowed, but they must assign IP addresses to wireless clients from the same subnet. Create the SSID and enable dynamic VLAN assignment. Create a FortiAP Profile and add the local bridge mode SSID to it. Create the VLAN interfaces and their DHCP servers. Create security policies to allow communication from the VLAN interfaces to the Internet. Authorize the FortiAP unit and assign the FortiAP Profile to it. Users can use different SSID and encryption type from those of the root AP device to access the network. The device in the network: Similar to the Repeater mode, the Bridge mode is used to enhance the exiting wireless signal. However, the difference is that the extended wireless network has its own SSID and encryption type different from those of root AP. I have two WRT54GS units (v2 and v4, both with pre-RC4 mini generic) with one acting as a normal router handling the DHCP while the other is set up in repeater bridge mode. I have a R6700 currently setup at home in AP mode with one SSID - Netgear's new OS allows using a single SSID for both 2.4 and 5GhZ. VLAN tagging is already there for non-bridge-mode access as is the setup for the guest ssid and security. So all it takes is to options in the UI and the system. Technically speaking another bridge with the ssid interface and a vlan-tagged subinterface on the WAN port. Warning: Some devices have a built-in switch chip that can switch packets between Ethernet ports with wire-speed performance. Bridge VLAN filtering disables hardware offloading (except on CRS3xx series switches), which will prevent packets from being switched, this does not affect Wireless interfaces as traffic through them cannot be offloaded to the switch chip either way.
